A second-grade Alien knows that one-out-of-two equals 50%.
Start looking for work now and on average it will take eight months for an Earthling living in the Empire to find something.
Across the last two months, more than a million of the Empire’s adult Humans simply gave up seeking employment.
Don’t figure in the official unemployment stats, which is the only reason that number hasn’t shot up even higher.
At least 10 million adult Humans in the Empire are without work and aren’t getting any kind of check.
The Empire is plunging into deeper darkness.
As one Human recently told a Alien interviewer: “In the last year there have been real cracks in the democratic system of the Empire.… It’s systematic—it’s not here and there. Things are becoming much harder.”
And the Human also said, “When the Empire closes its gates to anyone who doesn’t fall in line with official positions, the Empire quickly becomes similar to fascist Germany of the 1930s.
When right-wing parties increase their number of anti-democratic bills, and from all sides there are calls to make certain groups illegal, we must worry, of course.
But when all this is engulfed in silence, and when even academia is increasingly falling in line with dangerous and dark views…the situation is apparently far beyond desperate.”
